Gear Giveaway Winners Announced!
It was tough, but I’ve finally chosen the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place winners for last month’s sticker contest. People really thought outside of the box on this one and I was really impressed with some of the entries. So, without further adieu, here are the winners…
1st Place – Michael Volensky

Michael from Dub the Thorax went above and beyond by making this video. Never thought anyone would impale the Tenkara Talk sticker on a turn table and make a mix out of it, but, hey, I asked for creativity and I got it! Congratulations Michael and enjoy the net!
2nd Place – Mike Agneta
Tenkara Bum Horse Hair Line Kit
Mike, from Troutrageous took his Tenkara Talk Sticker on a wild ride to Vegas. This is the “official” submission , but you can see more photos and read his absolutely hilarious post about the trip here. Well done Mike!
3rd Place – Luke Haines
Tenkara USA Forceps and Line Cutters
Luke just didn’t take the sticker and stick it somewhere. He actually took the graphic and had a custom phone case made from it for his Blackberry Bold. Nice!
4th Place – Ted Wolkenhauer
Tenkara Bum Level Line & Tip Grip
What can I say? It’s a Tenkara Talk sticker on a hearse. That has to win something!

Congrats Mike aka Dub The Thorax. I’d have voted for you too! And thanks Jason, I’ll enjoy totally botching TBum’s horsehair line kit. Seriously, looking forward to playing with it.
Mike, I think you’ll find making the horse hair line is much easier than you think. I thought I would totally screw it up but Chris’s instructions a VERY easy to follow and after you do one line, you get it. My second line came out great. Consider the first one practice and in the kit you can manke several lines. Enjoy!
