About Jason Klass
Jason is an avid fly angler and backpacker. As a former fly fishing guide originally from Western New York, he moved to Colorado and became an early adopter of tenkara which perfectly suited the small, high altitude streams and lakes there. He has not fished a Western-style fly rod for trout since.

I need another tan baseball cap… I am sure you’re getting it.
Nice hat! I would love to roam the MN/WI driftless with that on.
Darn shame about the female model, but I NEED this hat to impress my tennis buddies (also fishermen). Why so much resistance to Tenkara!? My brother and I are barely speaking over my interest in it. If I win, I may send him this hat!
This hat gives me the opportunity to promote Tenkara in Europe.

The Netherlands
I am in need of a Tenkara Talk cap.
Tenkara needs some love down here in AR.
OK I’ll try again….Wife says it’s a good thing the model stays away, for my sake.
I would love a cap,
Tenkara all the way!
I’d love the hat now that I finally have been able to get into this great sport!
You just got to spread the Tenkara word in the UK
I need a Tenkara hat to get the attention of the bass fishermen in Kentucky. I was at Lake Greenbo State Resort Park last week and mentioned to one of the park staff the I had seen some people catching fish down at the Lake. He replied, “Yea they are just catching them old trout”. He said there was some really big bass in the that he was after. I don’t think I will ever convert the bass guys to Tenkara, but that’s OK.
Would love this hat to promote Tenkara in bonnie Scotland, where there is never ending “Tenkara streams”…
I don’t remember ever going so deep into a new year without catching a fish, but I finally did on Saturday — 1 trout, 1 bass and two bluegill, all on the Amago with a TenkaraBum orange line.
So I deserve the hat.
Also, I don’t mean to stuff the ballot box here but can’t resist commenting on Jim Bennett’s post: Tenkara in bonnie Scotland — perhaps with a Stewart Spider on the line? — is an absolutely awesome thought.
Let’s get Tenkara advertised in Oklahoma. I’d love to wear one of your hats!
I feel the luck of the Irish.
A tan hat will nicely round out the collection.
I could use a new fishing hat and would proudly wear this one
Nice hat. I can always use one more hat!
Definitely could show a little thing or two to the stuck up reel users on our “Blue Ribbon trout stream”.
Gotta have the hat to make a statement for Tenkara Idaho!!
Ron
Need a new dress hat.
Great hat. Sure could use one.
That would look good on the river Alyn in North Wales
I wear a cap everyday and this one will be a great advertisment in my area. Lots of fly fishers around.
I want that hat! To go with my Iwana and my sticker that you sent me recently. Just got back from a day=long fishing trip with my Tenkara and I had so many questions from regular fly fishers: “wow interesting, I like that, it’s so light, etc, etc. I promote Tenkara everywhere I go!
cool caps are always cool!
Would love to show off the hat here in CA!
Spring is sprung – time for a nice new cap
