Win a Free Fly Box & a Dozen Tenkara Flies!

Tenkara Fly Box

Wow, it’s been forever since I gave anything away so I’m feeling the need to do something about that!  Here’s your chance to win 12 free tenkara flies and a fly box.  It’s easy to enter.  Here are the details…

The Prize

An 8-compartment plastic Tenkara USA Fly Box and a dozen sakasa kebari (tenkara flies).  You’ll get three each of the following flies:

Takayama Kebari #16

Takayama Sakasa Kebari

Amano Kebari #12

Oki Kebari #8

Ishigaki Kebari #12

How to Enter

All you have to do is look at the picture below and guess how many flies are in my fly box:

Jason Klass's Fly Box

I’ll be honest with you–I don’t even know myself!  And I promise I won’t cheat and go fishing and lose a bunch of flies before the deadline on trees, rocks, or fish.  What you see in the picture will be the actual count.  On the deadline, I’ll pour my box out and count each fly one by one.  Whoever is the closest wins!  In the event that more than one person gets the right number, the person who posted first wins.  But, I’ll probably feel bad for the runner up and will likely offer a small consolation prize if you’re close enough.

To be eligible, leave a comment with your guess ON THIS BLOG POST–not Facebook, not Twitter, not Google +! Only comments on the Tenkara Talk blog will be counted.

The Deadline

The correct (or closest) winner will be selected at noon MST on Saturday, January 12th, 2013 (wow, still not used to the whole “13″ thing) so be sure to get your comments in by then!  The winner will be notified by email and announced on the Tenkara Talk Facebook page.  Good luck everyone!

About Jason Klass

Jason is an avid fly angler and backpacker. As a former fly fishing guide originally from Western New York, he moved to Colorado and became an early adopter of tenkara which perfectly suited the small, high altitude streams and lakes there. He has not fished a Western-style fly rod for trout since.
